The City of Yorkton would like to recognize citizens of Yorkton who are celebrating a "milestone birthday" or Golden Anniversary or better, by sending a letter and congratulatory certificate.

Large Format 
Aerial Photo Maps for Sale

  
The Planning and Engineering Department has eight aerial photo maps of the City of Yorkton available for sale to interested parties. The photo was taken August 14, 2003 and they show the City from a 1:4,000 scale. They are mounted on foam backing and are approximately 43 inches x 76 inches (3 ½ feet x 6 feet). Cost of each photo is $50.00 (plus GST) to be paid at time of receipt and will be sold on a first come, first serve basis.

Landfill Hours

 
The fall landfill hours are as follows:
 

CLOSED SUNDAYS AND STATUTORY HOLIDAYS

Please enter not later than 15 minutes before closing to allow for material handling.

City Bylaw #16-1981 and Bylaw #9/2003 requires that all loads transported to the landfill be securely fastened so as not to allow debris to fall onto the highway, offences subject to a $100 fine.
